Such an overwhelming peace in the early hours of the morning. It seemed that everyone who came to see the sunrise over the lake was in an awe, taking it all in quietly and slowly. The air was thick with silence, despite people moving around. A chilly morning, a sliver of the snow on the mountain, fiery banners of sunrise across the glacier, a cup of water from the turquoise lake, a few brushes and some paint, a new watercolor block (a birthday gift from the day before), AND wonderful friends.
